In this episode we speak with Janeen Canezaro. Janeen had a very lively time in the late 70's as she befriended a very special family, as in the Gambino crime family and rubbed elbows with none other than famed Italian mob boss, "Mafia Kingfish" Carlos Marcello and his underbosses the Silvio family. The Silvio family ran a mob owned business in the 70's, The Candle Light Inn, on what was called the Gold Coast. The Gold Coast is US 190 that runs in West Baton Rouge Parish, and was once a glittering stretch of mob ran night life in south Louisiana. Come with us on the adventure as she discusses this time in American history.
